Glasspool Charity Trust is committed to good practice in the handling of personal data and careful compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
We do not hold more information than we need to assess and process a grant application. We do not hold the information for longer than we need and we make sure the information we hold is as accurate as possible.
As we do not accept applications directly from individuals, we rely on your organisation as the third party who applies on their behalf, to obtain explicit consent from individuals (data subjects) in order that we may legally process their information in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
In submitting an application or information regarding an individual, your organisation is confirming that you have obtained express consent from your client/service user to release their information contained within our application process.
We will share the details of your client/service user to our suppliers and other grant givers where your client has a pending application, in furtherance of their application.
Sometimes we use case studies to show the difference our grants can make. However we will only share case studies if we have the explicit, written consent of the individual(s) it concerns.
We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office, Reg. No. Z6095569.
